Overview of Namibia Hunting Safari
Our Experience at This Lodge
When our Antlers & Anglers team visits a potential lodge to partner with, we look for a few key factors: People with integrity, people with excellent people skills, exceptional hunting land and opportunities, exceptional and seasoned professional hunters (PH’s), appropriate atmosphere, high quality trophies and the X factor of an connection with the staff. When we visited this team they not only checked all the boxes but they exceeded our expectations! This is an awesome family run operation.
As we traveled throughout their hunting area we were impressed by the abundance of game, mature animals, varied terrain and unique hunting areas. Our suite was comfortable with a view of the productive waterhole just out front. In the evenings we all sat around the fire telling new stories from the day and old stories from decades of hunting around the world. It seems trite to say it, but it is true that as we left we were already wishing we could return to this amazing place and looking forward to seeing our new friends soon!
Hunting
This outfitter offers both plains game and dangerous game hunting. All hunting is a traditional spot and stalk hunting experience. The goal of this hunting experience is to provide you with the most authentic and ethical hunt possible.
This outfitter’s vast number of hunt-able species and the connection with the safari team draws return clients back on multiple occasions. The client return rate is an astounding 85% or more. Because of this, you will want to plan your safari well in advance as dates are scarce. We recommend booking a year in advance or more.
Plainsgame: You will usually hunt for one to two animals per day depending on success – this is not a “whack ’em and stack ’em” experience but an authentic hunting experience. The animals you will be tracking are mature and excellent examples of their species. This is especially true of the kudu as this outfitter is well known for their exceptional representations of the species due to their dedication to sustainable hunting.
The land you are hunting on is vast and has diverse terrain. It is a mix of privately owned land and a consortium of neighbors who have given this outfitter exclusive use of their land for hunting. This is a tight-nit community that supports hunters.
List of species available:
- Greater Kudu (Kudu rut in this area is June/July)

Your skilled dangerous game certified PH’s (Professional hunter) will guide you with their excellent technique and deep knowledge of animal behavior and habits.
Bow Hunting:
If you’re interested in bow hunting, you’ll have your own dedicated professional hunter (PH) specializing in this area. This is a fantastic opportunity! All hunts are conducted either over watering holes or spot and stalk – depending on skill level.
There are practice blocks at the lodge and 1 3D target. You can also practice shooting from the blinds if desired.
Lodging
Four well appointed bungalows dot the landscape surrounding the productive, lit water hole. Each has its own ensuite bathrooms. The main safari lodge is comfortable; well suited to everyone in your group. Whether sitting by the pool, lounging in the main living area, visiting around the fire-pit or taking a siesta in your comfortable bungalow, you will be at ease and well taken care of.
The bungalows are equipped with hairdryers, comfortable beds, bright windows, simple decor and wifi.
Visit around the fire-pit in the evenings with other guests or fill the lodge with your own private group of 4-8 guests.
All of your meals are prepared at the lodge and can best be described as “good home cooking”! Each meal is as locally sourced as possible and is made up of game meats, veggies, and more.
Length of Stay / Itinerary
10 day safari’s are encouraged in order to take in the full experience of this country. However, seven day safari’s are accepted. All itineraries are customized for your group.
Travel Details & Location
Your final flight destination is Windhoek, Namibia where you will be personally greeted by your professional hunter for the 1.5 hour drive to the lodge. There is not charge for road transfers to/from the lodge and the airport.

Internet & Communications

Community Service
This outfitter supports an impoverished school and boarding home nearby! The protein from your hunt provides the meat for the children. There is even the opportunity to go visit the school/home!
If you would like to provide supplies for the school (which are always needed and appreciated!) then the safari owner recommends that supplies be purchased in the Windhoek on arrival and then delivered by guests directly to the school. Many guests list this as a highlight of their safari.
If you would like to make a difference while on your hunting vacation, this outfitter is grateful for any help that you would like to offer to the school but there is absolutely no pressure to do so.
You may choose to bring donations for either our staff / PH and/or the local community. Clients often expressed a desire to bring school supplies or clothing to these children in need. These children would love any of the following stationary: pens, pencils (lead or colored), crayons, books and toys and any type of clothing or shoes. Clients wishing to do so have also chosen to wait until they have arrived at Namibia, so that they could purchase something locally or donate the funds to make the purchases on their behalf. Some purchases have included some of the above, along with treats. The local purchases will save you the charges for excess luggage – rather than spend the money on the children!
Gifts for the staff may include secondhand clothing such as socks, gloves, shoes, shirts and pants. For the hunting or skinning assistants, tools such as Leatherman tools, flashlights, one-piece insulated suits for the winter, warm socks or gloves would be especially appreciated. These items need not be brand new – but can be second hand. The staff love gifts!
