Hunting

Approx. Season: April 20 – August 15

This Argentina mixed-bag hunt delivers fast-paced shooting and unbeatable variety. Morning duck hunts take place over decoys with passing shots, typically with two hunters per blind. Each hunter can shoot up to 40 ducks or 4 boxes of shells per outing, whichever comes first. Guides rotate between blinds, ensuring everything runs smoothly. The drive to the boats is typically 5–15 minutes, though occasionally up to 30 minutes. From there, a 15–20 minute boat ride gets you to the action.

Afternoon dove hunts are a high-volume thrill, usually 30–40 minutes from the lodge. Expect to burn through 10–20 boxes of shells per outing. If you’d rather chase hard-flying perdiz, you can swap the afternoon dove hunt for a classic upland hunt over pointers, with two hunters and one guide. Perdiz flush in pairs or singles, not coveys like quail, and there’s a limit of 8 per half-day hunt. Morning duck hunts can be exchanged for a perdiz hunt at no extra charge, while swapping an afternoon dove hunt for perdiz costs an additional $180.

Daily Schedule

Rise early for a hearty breakfast before heading out to the duck blinds well before first light. Hunt until mid-morning, then return to the lodge to relax before lunch. After a midday siesta, gear up for the afternoon dove hunt around 2:30–3:00 PM, shooting until dusk. Evenings are spent back at the lodge, enjoying cocktails, fine wine, and a gourmet dinner before resting up for the next day’s adventure.

Lodging

Hunters are welcomed into a classic Argentine estancia, steeped in history and craftsmanship from the early 1900s. With handcrafted woodwork, European-imported stone, and old-world charm, this lodge offers an authentic experience that blends rustic elegance with modern comfort. Combined with top-tier Argentine hospitality, expert guides, and world-class cuisine paired with fine wines, every moment off the field is as exceptional as the hunt itself.

The lodge accommodates a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 guests, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience. With eight twin-bed rooms and four bathrooms, the layout is designed for both comfort and camaraderie. One downstairs bedroom features a private bath, while seven upstairs bedrooms share three additional bathrooms. Groups of six or more enjoy exclusive use of the lodge, making it the perfect setting for a private hunting retreat with friends, family, or colleagues.
