An Alaska Peninsula hunt with this family owned and operated business is built around quality and success. Owner, Jeff’s three decades of experience in guiding big game hunts is apparent in all aspects of their commitment to you – the hunter. They have achieved an excellent reputation in every area of the hunting industry— from scheduling a small number of hunts to their success in the field — they demonstrate an absolute dedication to the commitment that was made when the hunt was booked. These hunts are not for the faint of heart as Alaska will challenge all of your senses.
We guide in an exclusive concession in the Katmai National Park and Preserve. We are the only outfitter allowed to guide in this area. They take care of this area, treating the land as if it was our own and managing the game so it will flourish.
This is truly a hunt of a lifetime!
On the Alaska Peninsula we hunt brown bear in the spring of even years and the fall of odd years. Both the spring and fall hunts are ten days. We also hunt Dall sheep, moose, grizzly bear, black bear and wolf in the Wrangell Mountains.
These hunts are one-on-one guided and each hunter will be paired with their own registered guide for the entire hunt (unless requested otherwise). All of our guides are experienced, knowledgeable, and highly trained. We are hunting game unit 9.
CRITICAL: The hunts are all backpack and you will need to be in great shape. It is spot and stalk hunting from a lookout and we may hike 1-5 miles a day. The Alaska tundra is like walking on a mattress all day long. It is not easy and you need to be in great shape. Success rates for larger bear are higher for those that are in good condition.

They are tried & true and work great on the Peninsula with its unpredictable weather. We will also have smaller all-season tents for backup if something were to happen.
The meals are freeze-dried for dinner and breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, and plenty of snacks throughout the day.
