Alaska Fishing Trip – Dillingham
This family owned and operated Alaska fishing trip is located in the Bristol Bay area near the southern boundary of the Wood-Tikchik State Park, the largest state park in the nation. They offer fishing trip packages at a great value for king salmon, silver salmon, sockeye salmon, pink salmon, chum salmon, native rainbow trout, Arctic char, grayling, Dolly Varden and northern pike. They feature fly fishing trips but also have spinning and bait casting gear as well. All fishing is by boat from the lodge to the various close surrounding rivers. If you would like to add some fly-out trips by float plane, that can be arranged at an additional fee.
They also operate a fly-in camp located on the Nushagak River. The Nushagak River has the largest run of kings of any other river in the state. The run usually exceeds 300,000 kings. The camp typically accommodates 8-10 guests per week so you can be sure to receive personal attention.
You may combine some time at the main lodge and then fly-in to the Nushagak River wall tent camp for a great combination trip. If King Salmon or silvers are a priority, then you will want to make sure that you visit the River camp during your stay!
