North Carolina Bass Fishing Lodge, Golf, Quail
Until recently, this pristine waterway has been unavailable to anyone outside the community. Now you and your clients, colleagues and friends can experience the long held secret of this waterway! This one of a kind Bass fishing lodge and fishery has been growing big bass since 1835 and has been privately owned for more than 125 years. You and your guests will be the only people on the 125 acre lake. The vision of the owners is to create the world’s most ideal client entertainment and private retreat environment. They have achieved this by combining unforgettable fishing, the most majestic natural setting, an expertly managed fishery, the finest food and drink, and the best available boats, tackle and service.
Step back in time and enjoy a traditional North Carolina quail hunt! The hunt will take you through pre-civil war wiregrass fields and old growth longleaf pine forest. Your footsteps crunch over frosted ground but your blood is pumping, and you freeze in place as you share the anticipation with the dogs as they go on point awaiting the explosion of the covey.
There is no better way to recognize a client, gather a small executive team or spend time with a group of friends than to give them a fine fishing experience at this exclusive North Carolina Lodge!
There are two words to remember when describing this elite experience: “Personal” and “Turnkey”. By “Personal” they mean that they try to tailor the experience expressly to you and your guests. Before you arrive, they will ask you to discover your guest’s favorite coffee, tea, snacks and food. The personal chef will design each of the meals to surprise and delight you. They can even provide live piano jazz during your lakeside dinner. Want to display your products? They will gladly accommodate you in a tasteful manner. By “Turnkey” they mean that all you have to do is to show up! They provide everything else.
They provide top quality rods, reels, tackle, boats and so much more. They also provide a wonderful and attentive staff: guides, wait staff, musicians and housekeepers who know how to serve without interfering in your special experience.
How about a triple play trip! Combine Pinehurst golf, bass fishing lodge and quail hunting all in the same trip. The best of all three worlds at one lodge. Consider Pinehurst golf fishing combination for your next corporate outing!

Bass tour pros are talking about this 120 acre bass lake! Since the lodge owns the entire lake and all the land that surrounds it, they have total control over the fishing quality. They can control the stocking density, the food supply, the amount of fishing pressure and the numbers of fish that are taken out. The fish are growing rapidly – on average they are gaining 1.5 to 2 pounds of body weight per year! The goal is to create the world’s best bass fishing lake, and they are well on their way!
Meals and overnight lodging are in the fabulous, eclectic guest house, built in 1961 as a rehearsal retreat by Morris Morgan, renowned North Carolina jazz pianist. They have retained many of his foundational elements, especially the jazz theme of the original. They have put a lot of effort into providing great beds and linens for a restful night’s sleep. Amenities include a gourmet kitchen, large flat screen TV, fine leather arm chairs and a comfortable screened porch with breathtaking views of the lake. There are two bedrooms with two king size beds in each room and private bathrooms.
The famed Pinehurst Golf courses are only thirty minutes away. There you will find some of the finest golf in the country, great shops and a beautiful hotel. On the property, enjoy the view and relax!

TRAVEL INSURANCE: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Links to the companies we recommend:
While we do everything in our power to protect our clients from travel problems, we cannot prevent illness, natural disasters, wars, deaths, lodge closings and more; we live in uncertain times! The only way to protect yourself and your investment is through travel insurance. Travel insurance can provide medical coverage, cancellation due to natural disaster, illness, death in the family, lodge closings and other unknowns; in this day and time, anything is possible. Lodges count on you to protect your investment as they cannot refund your payments due to the nature of the product they offer.
Finally, travel insurance is time-sensitive and must be purchased within a certain number of days of your deposit to cover preexisting conditions, lodge closings and other various issues. It is still available later but the benefits may be more limited.
Both companies offer evacuation insurance in addition to their travel insurance but Ripcord has more thorough coverage in this area.
The Ripcord membership and travel Insurance provides the highest levels of medical, security, evacuation and rescue services in the industry combined with travel insurance:
- Remote rescue services from point of injury or illness
- Medical evacuations to the member’s home hospital of choice
- The best evacuation and rescue triggers that include rescues for medical conditions that will result in permanent injury in addition to just requiring hospitalization
- Security extraction services for geopolitical events and natural disasters
- Involuntary detention resolution services for members who are held against their will
- Consulting services from special operations veterans, paramedics, nurses, and physicians
- Travel insurance
“WOW!!! What a special place! From the beginning of our stay, it was evident that you are doing everything RIGHT! Our guide was there checking out our boat when I arrived. He showed me everything and how it operated. Of course, the fishing was outstanding, but the lodge is unbelievable! It is the perfect place for father/son outings, or sales meetings, or corporate team-building outings. The atmosphere is so conducive to goal setting, problem-solving, or brain-storming new ideas. The equipment is state-of-art, whether it’s the grill, the kitchen, or the boats, or the fishing rods and equipment. The setting is so picturesque with the lake in the back and the “stream” out front. Congratulations on creating a great get-away!”

“You are getting ready to experience what I believe is the best bass fishing in the United States — right here in Richmond Mill Lake. As a guy who has bass fished his entire life and travelled all over the world to catch Mr. Large mouth, I gotta tell ya, this really is greatest bass fishing lake in North America – bar none! You are going to love it here!”
“Just wanted to thank you again for your overwhelming hospitality and kindness throughout our stay. It was truly the bluegill fishing trip of several lifetimes, and I have been chasing them since I was very young. Those fish were astounding, unbelievable! The trip was way beyond my expectations, way beyond words…thank you again!”
